میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ بے شک محمد ﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی لائقِ پرستش نہیں، وہ یکتا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد ﷺ اس کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is His servant and His Messenger.
Kalima Shahada is the Declaration of Witness. It is the second of the six kalimas and is also known as the Tashahhud. This kalima is the formal testification of faith that one offers when converting to Islam. It is also recited during the Tashahud of every Salah. This declaration affirms the core of Islamic belief: the absolute Oneness of Allah (Tawheed) and the acknowledgment of Muhammad (PBUH) as the last and final Prophet and Messenger of Allah.
Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:18) - Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and so do the angels and those of knowledge.
- یہ کلمہ وضو، نماز اور تشہد میں پڑھا جاتا ہے اور ایمان کی اعلیٰ ترین شہادت ہے۔
- حدیث میں ہے: جو شخص اخلاص کے ساتھ شہادت کا کلمہ پڑھے اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لیے جنت واجب کر دے گا۔
- اذان میں اور اقامت میں یہ کلمہ پڑھا جاتا ہے۔
- وفات کے وقت اگر زبان پر یہ کلمہ ہو تو انسان کامیاب ہوتا ہے۔
